SF-141 Forklift Weighing System

The WTSAFE SF-141 brings weighing directly into the forklift handling process. Sensors installed around the mast measure the load as it is lifted, while a wireless data box sends weighing information to the control unit in the operator area. Operators can view weight results, accumulate multiple measurements and print records without moving the load to a separate weighing station.

Onboard Forklift Weighing

Weigh Loads During Forklift Handling

SF-141 is a forklift-mounted weighing system that integrates load measurement into the lifting process. High-precision sensors collect load data as the forklift lifts the goods, while the wireless data box transmits measurement information to the control unit.

From the operator’s seat, weighing information can be viewed directly on the display, with functions for zeroing, precision weighing, accumulation and printing available through the control interface.

Key Functions of the SF-141

The SF-141 combines forklift-mounted load measurement, wireless data transmission and onboard result management in one system.

01 / Weighing

Forklift-Mounted Weighing

Measure load weight during the forklift lifting process without moving the goods to a separate weighing station.

02 / Wireless

Wireless Data Transmission

The measurement side communicates wirelessly with the control unit, reducing the need for signal wiring between moving components and the cab.

03 / Results

Accumulated Results

Accumulate multiple weighing results and review the accumulated weight and weighing count from the control interface.

04 / Printing

Onboard Result Printing

Print weighing information through the thermal label printer when a physical record is required during handling.

Precision Weighing Process

From Lifting to the Final Weight

Precision weighing follows the forklift lifting process. The operator starts weighing, lifts the goods as instructed and waits for the system to complete the calculation.

STEP 01

Position the Load

Engage the goods with the forks and prepare for the weighing lift.

STEP 02

Start Weighing

Start the weighing function from the operator control interface.

STEP 03

Lift the Goods

Continue lifting while the system collects measurement data.

STEP 04

Read the Result

When calculation is complete, the weighing result appears on the display.

Estimated Weight and Precision Weighing

The SF-141 interface provides an estimated load indication after the forklift lifts the goods. When a more precise result is required, the operator can start the precision weighing process.

Quick Reference

Estimated Weight

After the forklift lifts a load, the estimated-weight area can provide an approximate weight reference for the operator.

Precision Weighing

Complete the Lifting Cycle

Start the weighing function and lift the goods as instructed by the system until calculation is completed and the weighing result is displayed.

System Installation

Measurement at the Mast, Information in the Cab

The measurement components are installed around the forklift mast, while the display control unit is positioned in the operator area for viewing and operation.

The control unit uses the forklift’s 12 V power supply. The wireless data box is powered by its rechargeable 7.4 V 6000 mAh lithium battery.

Operator Area

Display control unit and thermal printer.

Forklift Mast

Sensor assembly and lift signal switch.

Wireless Measurement Side

Wireless data box and rechargeable battery.

安装

Make Weighing Part of the Forklift Workflow

SF-141 places load measurement on the forklift itself, allowing operators to obtain weighing information while handling goods.

Measure During Handling

Integrate weighing with the forklift lifting process.

Read Weight from the Cab

Keep the weighing result visible to the forklift operator.

Keep Multiple Results Together

Use the accumulation function when multiple weighing results need to be combined.

Forklift Weighing During Material Handling

SF-141 is designed for operations where load information is needed as part of normal forklift handling rather than at a separate weighing point.

Warehouse Handling

Check load weight while goods are being moved between storage, staging and dispatch areas.

Loading Operations

Obtain load information during forklift loading and unloading workflows.

Material Transfer

Record weighing information while materials are transferred within an operating site.

SF-540 UWB Forklift Blind Zone Warning System FAQs

Q: What is the SF-540 UWB Forklift Blind Zone Warning System?
−
A: The SF-540 is a fixed-area warning system for places where a forklift may approach out of sight, such as a warehouse corner or doorway. A warning unit at the risk point responds to a compatible tag on the approaching forklift and alerts nearby people with a voice message and flashing light.
Q: How is the SF-540 different from an onboard forklift proximity alarm?
+
A: The SF-540 is arranged around a specific crossing or blind zone. Its fixed warning unit alerts people at that location when a tagged forklift approaches. An onboard proximity system instead travels with the forklift and monitors nearby compatible tags as the vehicle moves through the site.
Q: Where should the SF-540 warning unit be installed?
+
A: Typical locations include rack-end blind corners, T-junctions, building entrances and exits, and crossings between forklift routes and pedestrian areas. The mounting position and warning distance should be checked against actual traffic directions and sight lines on site.
Q: What happens when a tagged forklift approaches the warning area?
+
A: The fixed unit detects the approaching vehicle tag within the configured warning area and activates its voice alarm and flashing warning light. This gives people near the crossing a prompt to look for the forklift and keep clear of its path.
Q: What is the SF-540’s warning distance?
+
A: The published SF-540 area warning distance is 1–15 m. The appropriate setting depends on the approach speed, route geometry, mounting location and available stopping distance; it should be verified during installation.
Q: Can the SF-540 detect a person without a tag?
+
A: The tag-based configuration should not be described as detecting every untagged person. Personnel-specific detection and warning require a suitable configuration with compatible personnel tags. If detection of untagged pedestrians is required, ask WTSAFE to assess another sensing method or a combined solution.
Q: Does the SF-540 automatically slow a forklift?
+
A: The SF-540’s published core function is area monitoring with voice and light alarms. Vehicle speed-control linkage may be specified as part of a compatible project configuration; it should not be assumed to be included with the warning unit alone.
Q: Can the system warn about both forklifts and pedestrians?
+
A: A solution equipped with compatible vehicle and personnel tags can be configured for different approach situations, including vehicle movement, personnel movement and convergence at a crossing. The exact alert logic and included tags should be confirmed for the selected installation.
Q: What power supply does the SF-540 warning unit require?
+
A: WTSAFE’s published specification lists AC 220 V for the SF-540 warning unit. Power requirements for vehicle tags, personnel tags or optional accessories are separate and depend on the components selected.
Q: What information is needed to plan an SF-540 installation?
+
A: Provide a floor plan or photos of the blind point, traffic directions, doorway or aisle dimensions, forklift quantity and whether workers will carry tags. Also identify any requirement for speed-control linkage or projected floor warnings so the complete configuration can be confirmed.
